This weekend was packed with feathers. First, we decorated for a mitzvah that was casino themed. The theme was inspired from the famous Bugsy Siegal who was a gangster in the early 1900s. He was the driving force behind the Flamingo casino in Las Vegas. We made a grand sign with "Bugsy Siegal's Flamingo" with two huge black and white feather arrangements at the entrance. Then all the tables had pink feather arrangements on glass vases and led lights illuminating them.
Then North Springs High School celebrated their prom with a " Soirée dans le Jardin" (in English a night in the garden). The tables had large Eiffel tower centerpieces and black feather arrangements throughout the room. There were four balloon columns (black and silver) with a red, silver and black criss cross arch above the dance floor. I hope all those kids had a special night!
