Teenage Dream

I hope you all came on by the new opening of L.A. Fitness on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard this past Saturday 11.3.2012. Who was the first to try out squeaky clean machines? We provided a large balloon archway at the entrance of the gym, a criss cross arch over the registration counter, and clusters of balloons on every piece of equipment. There was live music and chances to win prizes! It was a cheery way to start off the morning.

After our early morning, we headed over to Dor Tamid where we set up a lavender and lime luncheon. All the tables were covered in lavender linens. In contrast, floral arrangements with hydrangeas and roses were placed on top of a glass cylinder vase filled with fresh limes. (We cut up over 250 limes and used almost every one! We had a few ideas of what we could do with the spare... :D)  We also produced one LARGE "earth shaking" floral display for the buffet table. I think it made a grand statement and gave the luncheon sophistication. In addition, we made two bema arrangements for the mitzvah service that combined elements from the luncheon (green/lavenders) and the night party (pinks).

As the staff turned around the room from the luncheon to the night party, the guests gathered in the tent out back and enjoyed some refreshments as they waited. For the night, the tables in the tent were covered in purple and the the florals from earlier were re-purposed. Inside was set up for Arden's Teenage Dream (inspired from Katy Perry's song). There were three bright pink feather centerpieces on top of sleek contemporary vases. The highboys had vases with Arden's name on it, filled with gel and then lit from underneath. Light blue linens covered the tables while pink uplighting and draping was placed around the room. Custom signage was hung in the middle of the room for all to see and balloon clouds were placed for an airy feel. There was also a lit up candy station with a custom sign.

The pictures below depict just how much lighting can change the overall feel of a space.
